We are open! Hope you have all been well! You have all been missed so much! Let’s restart together and embrace “new-normal” as an opportunity to care and refresh. These unprecedented times have been challenging to navigate with many small businesses enduring a mandated closure to flatten the curve, ours has come with detrimental financial hardship. While we were closed for the past two months, the OASIS family has been busy during the time we were closed getting our certifications, the COVID-19 WorkSafeBC business plan and preparing the salon for when we can serve our clients!
As most of you know, our employees have always and will always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as mask and gloves during the service. All our implements was always and still is sterilized up to medical standards. We want to take an extra step for safety measures and will be abiding with some new and improved protocols:
Safe Distance:
- There are 3 chairs outside that is 2 metres apart if you would like to wait outside on a nice sunny day.
- Plexiglass dividers between: spa pedicure chairs, manicure tables, nail drying stations and waiting area.
Sanitizing & Personal Protective Equipment:
- Hand sanitizer station at our front door, with masks and gloves available for our clients.
- Total of 24 hand sanitizing stations and 10 stations of 70% alcohol.
- A complete sanitization of each station and equipment will be performed in between clients.
- Baskets for your personal items are sanitized with 70% alcohol after each use.
- Spa pedicure chairs and plexiglass are sanitized with 70% alcohol after each use. One-time use tub liner are used and tubs are sanitized with medical grade sterilizer and alcohol after each use. UV sterilizing light, blue disinfectant tablets, and whirlpool are used in the tub during the service.
- We use only one-time use file, buffer and pumice stone that we will sterilize and bag for you to take home after the service.
We are open with our regular hours:
Monday to Saturday: 9am to 7pm; &
Sunday: 10am to 7pm.
We will always try to accommodate walk-ins, but it is always better to book appointments!
With much thought and consideration, we have made the very difficult decision to implement an increase in service fees. We have added a $2 fee on top of all services for the disposable mask, disposable gloves, file, buffer and pumice stone (which can be taken home after the service).
COVID-19 has affected many in various ways. Because of this, we are deeply regretful to have to implement this change during this time. Please know that we value our clients and are appreciative of the support that you have shown over the years. We thank you for your patronage and ask for your patience as we begin to open up our appointments. Our team is working very hard around the clock to communicate and accommodate booking requests. Please note that due to the overwhelming requests, it may take a little longer to accommodate all the needs of our clients. We will do our best to find solutions for everyone in a timely manner.
Although our situation has changed, our salon community remains our lifeline. Thank you for your understanding, kindness, support, and encouragement. With all of this radical change comes with the deep desire to keep our community together. We look forward to connecting with each one of you as timing and new protocols allow.
